John has been with us for a few years now and looks after the operational and logistical aspects of our markets and the opps team and generally makes sure things happen.

His background has revolved around food as a chef-restaurant owner and street food market trader so he brings a 360° take as well as a fine dose of Irish charm.

Fabio has been a part of Real Food Festivals from its beginning, launching our very first annual event in Earls Court Exhibition Centre, through to developing the festivals and markets that we run today. Driven by an interest in food from field to fork, Fabio graduated from the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Italy and has worked in food journalism and with Slow Food International.

He is equally passionate about music and believes that music is the food of life as much as food is the music of life… play on!

Dan Goode is Craft Curator across our markets and is a bonafide craft fanatic.

He’s a speaker, curator and mentor and has been chief talent scout for two online galleries as well as giving talks for The Crafts Council, The Design Trust, Arts Thread, Handmade in Britain and Craft Northern Ireland & Design Factory.

He has also been an independent curator for all the Handmade in Britain shows since 2016 under 'Curated by Dan Goode' and sits on the panel for the Richard Seager Annual Arts Award, judged the Global Design Graduate Show (2020) and in 2021 was a judge for the New Ashgate Gallery’s Rising Stars.

Dan’s own enterprise, 'Making Goode', supports the whole making community.

A key member of our Market Management and Opps team, David brings generous care and attention to our markets and market community. He's licensed by the SIA and has training in Health and Safety, Food Safety and Hygiene, Fire Safety and First Aid… and is pretty handy with a guitar too.

Philip founded Real Food to encourage people to re-connect back to where their food comes from and to support smaller producers of great food to find new markets to sell their products.

He believes that food and the production of food is at the heart of our ability to create a sustainable and pleasurable future or the cause of civilisations ultimate downfall.

He is a passionate believer in good nutrition as the foundation for good health and has spent the last 10 years researching the evidence of what constitutes a healthy diet and, for himself at least, is as sure as he can be that he has found it…!

At its core is the reality that ultra-processed foods should just not be a part of the human diet.

For fun he loves adventure sports, having made over 1,000 skydives (mostly in a wingsuit), and he loves the water as a kitesurfer, waterskier and scubadiver…

Romaine looks after all things PR for us, with a background in events, marketing and e-commerce, she has been immersed in media for many years and also runs The Organised Home which is a curated website offering modern Scandinavian home storage solutions.

Romaine has written extensively for the National Press in organising and storage Features. On TV Romaine has appeared in a five week strand on This Morning (ITV1) on The Vanessa Show (Channel 5) UKTV, UTV and TV3.

In addition to this she has contributed to hundreds of Radio Discussions on hoarding, clutter and storage solutions and is the Author of ‘The Clutter Clinic-Organise Your Home In Seven Days’.

Monica joined the Real Food team in 2010 and has been an integral part ever since, keeping us all in line and in order!

A great cook with an intuitive understanding of food and wine (she is Italian after all) she also has incredibly green fingers and is the resident gardener who can easily lose herself, entranced by the endlessly fascinating world of flowers, fruit and vegetables…
