Importers and Affineurs of French and Swiss artisan cheeses. Mons Fromager Affineur Ltd works exclusively with products matured by Herve Mons in caves at St Le Chatel, near Roanne in France. We currently retail at Borough Market, Clapham Venn Street Market and Covent Garden Market in London. We also wholesale throughout London and the UK.
Our best selling products are our Soft and Washed Rind Cows Milk cheeses and Soft Goat's Milk cheeses which come from Limousin, Loire, and Provence. Another strong product is our Grand Jura Suisse, an 18-22 month Gruyere from West Switzerland. Other hard cheeses that stand out are Abondance, Beaufort Alpage, Salers du Buron and Lagiuole. These cheeses are particularly hard to find elsewhere in the UK.
