Tesco in secret talks to improve chicken welfare - 26/1/09

Tesco has met with a Defra group aimed at raising poultry welfare to discuss improving the life of its 200-million broiler chickens. Tesco's participation is revealed by Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall at the end of tonight's Channel 4 programme, Chickens, Hugh and Tesco too, updating viewers on his campaign for free-range poultry.
