We are delighted that Sacla' are sponsoring the Real Food Festival again this year. To enable us to support and subsidise the smaller producers who take part in the festival we need larger, successful businesses to take part too.
Sacla' have been making real Italian food with care, flair and love for the last 70 years using only the finest and freshest ingredients. Still a family business, run by the second and third generations of the founding family they have a real respect for tradition, honouring the wisdom of age-old techniques in growing and preserving vegetables following the rhythm of the seasons wherever they can.
They've spent decades developing and nurturing intense and supportive relationships with their farmers and growers, investing together in quality and sustainability. Together, they work with these growers to get rid of the use of pesticides and other nasties, preferring instead to encourage a more organic approach to farming.
The support from Sacla' means that we are able to offer FREE tickets to children under 16. We think it is so important to encourage children to know about their food and to take an active interest in what they are eating and this initiative will ensure parents bring their children to enjoy the festival.
