TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. All items displayed, sold and/or promoted at the Festival must have been approved or made known to the Organiser on this booking form and should comply with the selection criteria as described above.
2. A deposit of £230 is required to hold your reservation (£200 + VAT). Please make cheques payable to Brand Events Real Food Ltd. If your application is rejected your cheque will be returned to you or destroyed. Cheques will not be banked until you have been notified of selection. Payment by credit card is accepted but is subject to an additional fee based on the transaction value: Visa and Mastercard – 2.5%;
Any balance will be due on 1st January 2010.
3. If the applicant cancels, deposits are refundable on the following basis:
Cancelled before 1st October 2009 – full refund
Cancelled before 1st January 2010 – 50% refund if stand is resold, if not, no refund
Cancelled after 1st January 2010 – No refund
4. Exhibitors must conduct their business in a manner that does not interfere with the interests of other exhibitors, and not canvass for customers beyond the boundaries of their stand. Exhibitors should not engage in activities which are deemed to be contrary to the best interests of the Festival or which appear unethical or to be in breach of the law and the Organiser reserves the right to eject an exhibitor without any liability for a refund if an exhibitor does not comply with these conditions.
5. A ‘no smoking’ policy operates.
6. In the interests of public safety, all exhibitors must not dismantle their stand until after the event has closed. Exhibitors should keep their stand appropriately dressed and maintained and all exhibits open to view and the stand adequately staffed continuously during the opening hours of the Festival
7. The Exhibitor shall be entitled to occupy the Space for the purpose of displaying only the Permitted Goods and Services for the duration of the Festival. The Exhibitor shall not assign the benefit of the Contract for Space or sub-let the whole or part of the Space, without the written consent of the Organiser.
8. Producer stands will be allocated by the organiser 6 weeks before the Festival and will be at the discretion of the Organiser – no guarantees for positions will be confirmed until this time except corner stands booked and paid for as part of the original booking.
9. Exhibitors are responsible for their own goods at the Festival and no responsibility is accepted for loss, damage, or financial loss, due to abandonment or cancellation of the event due to factors beyond our control.
Exhibitors are responsible for any accidents or injuries to the public caused by their products, display stands or their use of the space allocated to them, and must arrange their own Public Liability cover and have current Food Hygiene and Electrical Safety certificates as applicable.
