| Real Food and Rosie Boycotts Capital Growth Campaign |
|
The Capital Growth project aims to help Londoners transform the capital by helping to create 2,012 new community food growing spaces by 2012. The campaign offers practical and financial support to communities around London, helping people get access to land and create successful food growing spaces. It's a campaign co-ordinated by London Food Link (part of Sustain; the alliance for better food and farming) that has been funded by the London Development Agency through London Food that is chaired by Rosie Boycott.
The Garden was built by Global Generation and the initial plants and herbs were kindly supplied by Rocket Garden.

Togther with Earls Court (where our offices are based) we have built a growing garden on the roof space of the Earls Court Exhibition Centre which will provide an edible garden for office workers of Earls Court and the Real Food team. The space will also hopefully encourage the workers of earls court to grow their own food.
Rosie came along to the official opening of the Garden just prior to the Real Food Festival and we brought up some of the sheep from the Sheep Show taking place at the event to have their picture taken with her!
