Poached pears and cranberries in port
This is an easy, yet stylish dessert, that can be made within minutes. Ideal for those busy lifestyles.

Method

Take a jar of The Wooden Spoon Pears & Cranberries with Port, empty the entire contents in a saucepan and simmer gently for 5 minutes
When the pears have softened, remove from the juice, and place standing on a shallow dish with a few of the cranberries.

Turn the heat up on the juice to bring to the boil and reduce. When ready, pour the steaming sauce over the pears and serve with a rich vanilla ice cream.
